Injury Sidelines Bello for Season

In a news release, the Lake Elsinore Storm announced that reliever David Bello would miss the rest of the season due to bone chips in his elbow. Bello sustained the injury on 06/20/2025. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager.

Agnew Shines in Winning 2025 California League HR Challenge

A new champion was crowned tonight in the 2025 California League Home Run Challenge at Stockton Stadium. Robby Agnew of the Stockton Ports topped Xavier Zapeta of the Lake Elsinore Storm by a margin of 6-5.
"During a game I never try and go to the plate and hit a home run, so I had to take a different approach tonight. It worked so well I may have to change my approach during games," said Agnew.
