It's Over! Houston (DSL) Defeats San Diego (DSL) Saturday, September 27th , 2025 It's party time in Houston (DSL). The confetti is flying and residents are smiling. The Houston (DSL) Astros have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2025 Round 3 today. They defeated the San Diego (DSL) Padres 1 5-2 at San Diego (DSL) Grounds to officially wrap up the series 4-3. Asked how it feels to be a champion, right fielder Eric Homeyer was to the point. "It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions." The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Houston (DSL) finished the regular season 45-27 and claimed first place in the Boca Chica Northwest Division. |
