Houston (DSL) Wins Round 1 Wednesday, September 10th , 2025 Mike Logue said he didn't even realize how well he had been playing in the Round 1 until he was shown his own statistics. The Houston (DSL) Astros third baseman put up a .348 average with 1 home runs, 4 RBI and 5 runs scored, enough to earn him series MVP honors. It all added up to his Astros advancing to the Round 2, with a 4-2 series win over the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 2. "I didn't really pay attention to the numbers or my stats at all as we went along," he said. "I'm just so focused on trying to help the team win, that's it." The series victory had become official with a 5-4 triumph at Daikin Park. Even if Logue is not paying close attention to his stats, the rest of baseball certainly will be keeping an eye on him as the playoffs continue. "I like to be under pressure and think I respond well to it," he said. The Houston (DSL) Astros will play against the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 in the next round. New York A (DSL) had a bye in the Round 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
