Injury Derails Season for Smith Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 In a news release, the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers announced that closer Tom Smith would miss the rest of the season due to a ruptured disc. Smith sustained the injury on 08/16/2025. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. To date this year Smith has 4 saves with a 1-1 mark and 2.70 ERA. |
