Giants 1 Woodger Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 San Francisco (DSL) second baseman Wayne Woodger had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Washington (DSL) Nationals at Giants 1 Grove as the Giants 1 picked up a win, 11-10. "He was patient up there," San Francisco (DSL) skipper Dustin Anderson told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Woodger has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Wayne Woodger hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Ortiz in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Omar Villatoro in the 8th. In this current campaign Woodger is hitting at a .314 clip with 17 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
