Hit Parade: Romano Pops 5 Hits Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Sean Romano -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at St. Louis (DSL) Grounds and paced the 15-2 Yankees 1 win over the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals Red. After his dynamite batting performance, the New York A (DSL) center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Sean Romano singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and tripled in the 8th. |
