5-Hit Blitz by Rathbun Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 Andy Rathbun was sizzling at the plate. The Chicago N (DSL) first baseman blistered the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 1 for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 8-2. "Rathbun was too tough to get out today," Red Sox 1 skipper Sean Self said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Andy Rathbun doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In his season totals, Rathbun has 3 home runs, .362 BA, .407 OBP, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has played in 23 games. |
