Orozco Stretches Hit String to 25 Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 DSL lost to the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 2, 8-7, at Sutter Health Park, but Victor Orozco kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 3 hits. The Athletics first baseman has now delivered hits in 25 straight games. "Victor has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," DSL manager Andy Rolfes told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Victor Orozco singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this season, Orozco has hit .403 with 12 home runs, 50 RBIs and scored 53 times. |
