Dodgers Robinson End Siguenza Streak Saturday, August 9th , 2025 The Chicago N (DSL) Cubs 1 lost to the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson, 10-2, at Cubs 1 Field, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Ramon Siguenza's 30-game hitting streak. The center fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Siguenza, we would win the game," Dodgers Robinson manager Jeff Williams explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Currently Siguenza is hitting .397 and has collected 12 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 29 times, while playing in 41 games. |
