6-for-7 Game for King Saturday, July 26th , 2025 Brian King of the Guardians 2 was unstoppable in his team's 20-3 victory over the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals Red at Guardians 2 Ballpark. He battered them for 6 hits in 7 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Cleveland (DSL) second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 6-for-7 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Brian King flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. During the current season King is batting at a .437 clip with 9 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 24 games and scored 19 times. |
