Valle Tags 3 HR Against Red Sox 2 Tuesday, July 22nd , 2025 Alex Valle went on an explosive hitting spree against the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 2 at Rate Field, launching a trio of blasts to help the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox win, 25-8. The third baseman finished 6-for-6 with 5 runs scored and 4 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Valle said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Boston (DSL) skipper Paul Hurt said Valle was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Alex Valle hit a two-run home run off Miguel Escobar in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Nick Javier in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Nick Javier in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. For the year, Valle is batting .490 with 25 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 13 times and driven in 16. |
