Solis Goes Long 3 Times Thursday, July 17th , 2025 Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1 catcher Gregorio Solis had a magnificent game against the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 2, rocketing three balls out of Red Sox 2 Park to help the Tigers 1 win, 12-9. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Solis went 3-for-5 with 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Detroit (DSL) manager Ramon Rios said later. "Seems like Gregorio found his home run stroke today." Gregorio Solis grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off David Warnock in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off David Warnock in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jeff Borders in the 9th.
