Baltimore (DSL) Stops Estrada Hit Streak Wednesday, July 16th , 2025 The Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Jorge Estrada hitless in 2 at-bats during the club's 13-9 victory over the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks 1 at Orioles 1 Field. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the center fielder. "I'm a little down right now," Estrada said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." So far this season, Estrada is batting .400 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 100 at-bats, 8 walks and a .450 OBP. Estrada has played in 23 games. |
