O'Neill Collects Cycle Wednesday, July 16th , 2025 Ryan O'Neill hit for the cycle and paced the Houston (DSL) Astros to a win, 13-1, against the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds at Daikin Park. The Astros third baseman led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 4 runs batted in and 2 runs. "Now that I know what Ryan is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Houston (DSL) manager William Zbinden joked with reporters after the game. Ryan O'Neill tripled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Israel Arzuaga in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and doubled in the 7th. For the year, O'Neill is hitting .398 with 7 home runs. His stats include 20 RBI and 21 runs scored. |
