3-Homer Hat Trick for Maine Wednesday, July 9th , 2025 Cincinnati (DSL) Reds second baseman Daniel Maine had a magnificent game against the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1, rocketing three balls out of Tigers 1 Park to help the Reds win, 7-1. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Maine went 4-for-5 with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Cincinnati (DSL) manager Enrique Becerra said later. "Seems like Daniel found his home run stroke today." Daniel Maine singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Marcell Pomardi in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Marcell Pomardi in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Bob Galvan in the 9th. |
