Dave Klotz walloped 5 hits in 7 at-bats for the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1 in a career day at Diamondbacks 1 Grove, but it was the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks 1 who won the ballgame, 7-6. "My swing was really, really there," Klotz said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-7 and losing is better than 0-for-7 and losing, right?" Dave Klotz hit a two-run home run off Miguel Carvajal in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, struck out in the 13th and singled in the 16th. This year, Klotz has hit at a .587 clip with 27 hits, 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
