Hits Galore: Gentry Drills 5 Hits Monday, June 23rd , 2025 Tim Gentry of the Athletics was unstoppable in his team's 15-10 victory over the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies White at Sutter Health Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the DSL center fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Tim Gentry singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This year, Gentry has hit at a .431 clip with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
