Kagawa Hits 3 Homers Against Texas (DSL)

New York N (DSL) Mets 1 shortstop Kunimitsu Kagawa left the Texas (DSL) pitching staff in ruins at Ballpark of Texas (DSL), beating the Rangers 2, 11-3, with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Kagawa told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the New York N (DSL) shortstop had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 8 and scored 3 runs.
Kunimitsu Kagawa struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Antonio Ramirez in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Alex Giron in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Federico Sandoval in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
Thus far this season, Kagawa is hitting .355 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 31 at-bats and has played in 8 games.
