Rupert Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, June 12th , 2025 It was a parade of hits for Donnie Rupert of the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson at Great American Ball Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Rupert finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Dodgers Robinson to a win, 15-1. "Rupert was really good and we were really bad," groaned Reds manager Enrique Becerra. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Donnie Rupert flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Hector Valcarcel in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mario Hernandez in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
