Burkhart 5-for-6 for DSL Thursday, June 12th , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the DSL's 22-3 win over Boston (DSL), left fielder Freddy Burkhart was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Red Sox 2 Park. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Burkhart said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Freddy Burkhart grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off David Warnock in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 6th. |
