Brooks August's Best Hurler in CAL Monday, September 1st , 2025 In August Stockton starter, Fred Brooks really put the strong arm on the other California League teams and hauled in the Pitcher of the Month trophy. He did it with an impressive 5 wins and no losses. In 6 starts and 40.1 innings of work, Brooks limited opposing batters to 32 base hits and a .213 batting average. He fanned 39, issued 7 walks and had a 1.79 ERA. Up to now Brooks has recorded a record of 14-3. In 27 starts he has fanned 141 batters in 169.2 innings with a 3.50 ERA. |
