Grizzlies End Agnew Streak Friday, June 20th , 2025 Robby Agnew, right fielder for the Stockton Ports, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 5 tries against the Fresno Grizzlies. Not only did the Grizzlies break his 20-game hitting streak, they also beat Stockton by the score of 6-0. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Agnew said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Agnew is swinging at a .335 pace on the year with 9 home runs, 47 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has played in 61 games. |
