Beebe Punishes TEX Pitchers This Week

Northwest Arkansas fans have something to crow about today as Northwest Arkansas shortstop Bryan Beebe nabbed the Texas League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days.
"I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Beebe.
He posted a .524 average (11-for-21) this past week with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs, and 7 runs scored.
Thus far this season in 20 games, Beebe is batting .347 with 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 75 at-bats.
