Warshaw Batters Baltimore (FCL) for 6 Hits Friday, July 11th , 2025 It seemed that Philadelphia (FCL) first baseman Andy Warshaw could do no wrong as the Phillies KO'd the Orioles Orange, 13-3. Warshaw rapped out 6 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Orioles Orange hurlers were throwing. "I think the Phillies were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Baltimore (FCL) fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Warshaw in the postgame press interview. Andy Warshaw singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. |
