Great Day for Durocher -- 5 Hits Wednesday, July 2nd , 2025 Justin Durocher had an answer for everything the Detroit E (FCL) Tigers East threw at him at Orioles Black Grounds. The Baltimore (FCL) catcher went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Orioles Black a win, 18-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Durocher said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Justin Durocher singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Durocher is batting .286 this year with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 1 run scored. He has 8 hits in 28 at-bats. |
