Arizona(ACL)-Los Angeles A(ACL) Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, July 10th , 2025 Yesterday at Chase Field Jorge Vasquez and Nate Borucki got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Arizona(ACL) Diamondbacks and Los Angeles A(ACL) Angels. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Vasquez will have to sit out 5 while Borucki would be given a 3-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. Thus far this year, Vasquez is batting .372 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
