Alcock Racks up 4 HR Against Pirates

Rowan Alcock victimized Pittsburgh Pirates hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the American League record books.
In an epic hitting spree at PNC Park, the Toronto center fielder went downtown again and again, leading the Blue Jays to a win, 6-1. He went 4-for-4, drove in 6 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.
"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."
Rowan Alcock hit a two-run home run off Andres Vidrio in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Andres Vidrio in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jalen Degree in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Felipe Claudio in the 8th.
Currently Alcock has 11 home runs and a .320 batting average.
