Alcock Belts 3 HRs Thursday, May 8th , 2025 Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Rowan Alcock had a magnificent game against the Detroit Tigers, rocketing three balls out of Comerica Park to help the Blue Jays win, 8-1. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Alcock went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Toronto manager Chris Gershon said later. "Seems like Rowan found his home run stroke today." Rowan Alcock flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Saul Arbelo in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Tommy Kleist in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tommy Kleist in the 9th. This year, Alcock is batting .319 with 43 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 32 times and has batted in 17 runs. |
