Rangel Grabs AL Best Batter Award for May Monday, June 1st , 2026 Hector Rangel made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the American League this past month. The Baltimore Orioles first baseman shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 19-year-old hit .351 with 13 home runs, 37 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This season in 51 games, Rangel has hit at a .305 clip with 43 hits, 18 home runs, 48 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
