Barrage of Hits Gets Gibson AL Award Monday, April 14th , 2025 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Seattle's Josh Gibson put up last week were the envy of the league, as Gibson came away with American League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week as he posted his .545 batting average. So far on the season, Gibson is hitting .490 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 24 hits and played in 14 games. |
