Cleveland-Chicago Deal Confirmed Wednesday, May 20th , 2026 In a hastily called press conference, Cleveland announced today a trade with Chicago that will send 20-year old minor league CF Alex Roman to the Cubs in exchange for 26-year old 2B Jose Picado and $1,580,000 in cash. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Chicago will retain a portion of Picado's remaining contract. Picado is currently batting .282 with 1 home run, 10 runs scored and 16 RBIs. His OBP is .347. |
