Sunday, May 10th , 2026
Zachery O'Neal went on an explosive hitting spree against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, launching a trio of blasts to help the Baltimore Orioles win, 14-6.
The right fielder finished 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 6 RBI.
"It was just one of those days," O'Neal said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
Boston skipper Adam Childs said O'Neal was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Zachery O'Neal struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Sergio Lozano in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Chung Huang in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jose Castillo in the 9th.
This year, O'Neal is hitting .252 with 15 home runs and 29 RBIs in 33 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .368 with 21 walks and 26 runs scored.
