Los Angeles LF Joe Danford Injured Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 Los Angeles fans will be disappointed to learn that Joe Danford suffered a hamstring strain while running the bases in today's game. After the doctor informed the Los Angeles Angels manager that Danford was expected to miss 5-6 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the left fielder could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper. So far this year, Danford is hitting .296 with 1 home run. |
