St. Louis Stops Lindley Hit Streak Monday, May 4th , 2026 The St. Louis Cardinals clamped down on Nick Lindley and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 23 straight games, but it didn't keep the Pirates from winning. Pittsburgh downed the Cardinals, 4-2. "It was bound to happen," Lindley said with a shrug after the game. Lindley is currently hitting at a .359 pace with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 28 games and scored 21 times. |
