Minnesota-Washington Trade: Rodriguez for Robinson Tuesday, March 17th , 2026 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Minnesota and Washington have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 23-year old minor league RHP Alex Rodriguez, 23-year old minor league RHP Chris Anderson, and 22-year old minor league RHP Arturo Carbajal to the Nationals with 26-year old RHP John Robinson joining the Twins. Minnesota general manager Eric Russell would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league.
