MLB Implements "No-Fly Zone" for Rodolfo Guerrero's Drone
Monday, March 16th , 2026
As reported yesterday in the Boston Times, we learned that Boston Red Sox's center fielder Rodolfo Guerrero had built a drone during the off-season, and was using it to snap some pictures around the team's spring training facility.
There were some people in the Major League Baseball head offices who were not a big fan of the drone, apparently. They had the drone "grounded" as they didn't like Guerrero flying it around the stadium.
Hearing of the ban, Rodolfo Guerrero took to social media.
"Hey MLB if you're going to ban drones, can I at least have that rule named in my honor?"
