Keating and Williams Dealt Wednesday, February 11th , 2026 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Cleveland. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Cleveland Guardians general manager shook things up by acquiring 25-year old 2B Jason Williams from the New York Mets for 18-year old minor league RF Chase Keating and 23-year old minor league RHP Jorge Zaragoza. "We're a better team now," Guardians general manager David Williams said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." In his career, Williams is hitting .291 with a total of 9 home runs. |
