Deal: LaFoon for Aguilar Monday, February 2nd , 2026 The Washington Nationals have parted ways with 36-year old RHP Brad LaFoon, 24-year old minor league RHP Lance Schwanz, and $550,000 in cash in a trade with the San Diego Padres for 18-year old minor league LF Victor Aguilar. Nationals general manager Mejia confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Since coming into the league, LaFoon has a 12-11 mark and a 3.13 ERA. The 36-year-old hurler also has struck out 155 batters in 213 innings and permitted 210 hits. |
