Chicago-Detroit Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, September 20th , 2025 Phil Voelkl of Chicago and Jeff Arthur of Detroit were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Voelkl will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Arthur was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far in 2025 Voelkl is batting .280 with 20 home runs, 48 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 81 hits in 289 at-bats and a .356 OBP. This season, Arthur has fashioned a 9-11 mark and 4.08 ERA in 161 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .272 against him and he has logged 125 strikeouts. |
