Ruckus Reaps 2-Game Suspensions Thursday, September 11th , 2025 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Texas-New York game at Yankee Stadium. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Rangers Paul Wellman and the Yankees Bert Lovric were each issued 2-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. Thus far this season in 130 games, Wellman is batting .296 with 33 home runs, 87 RBIs and 91 runs scored. He has 134 hits in 453 at-bats. To date in 48 relief appearances, Lovric has recorded 10 saves while posting an ERA of 5.85 and 33 strikeouts in 47.2 innings pitched. His totals for the year also include 6 wins and 4 losses. |
