CF Alcock Stays Put in Toronto Saturday, August 30th , 2025 Rowan Alcock might be greedy, but there's no disputing his talent. The hotshot center fielder will pocket $306,000,000 after re-signing with the Blue Jays earlier today, and will hang around another 8 years. Some more financially prudent fans worried that the signing would burden the club down the road and might prevent it from being competitive, though many others were simply thankful that Alcock didn't bolt. This season, Alcock is swinging the bat at a .315 rate with 115 hits in 365 at-bats. To date he has hit 17 home runs, scored 78 runs and driven in 60. |
