Rodrigo Banegas Wallops 3 Homers for Astros Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 Houston Astros right fielder Rodrigo Banegas had a magnificent game against the Athletics, rocketing three balls out of Sutter Health Park to help the Astros win, 6-1. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Banegas went 4-for-5 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Houston manager Jason Jones said later. "Seems like Rodrigo found his home run stroke today." Rodrigo Banegas hit a three-run home run off Antonio Carrasco in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Antonio Carrasco in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Pete Jackson in the 9th.
