Lopez Sensational, 5-for-6 Friday, August 22nd , 2025 It was a parade of hits for Marcos Lopez of the Houston Astros at Daikin Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lopez finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Astros to a win, 13-8. "Lopez was really good and we were really bad," groaned Cardinals manager Brock Naff. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Marcos Lopez tripled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Max McCullough in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Colby Nocito in the 8th.
