Roundtree on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 18th , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Nazir Roundtree of the Cleveland Guardians. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .550, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week Roundtree went 11-for-20, racked up 5 home runs and 13 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Cleveland left fielder. For the season, Roundtree is batting .288 with 125 hits and 21 home runs. He has scored 71 times and batted in 70. |
