More Woes for Mets Jose Delgado Thursday, August 14th , 2025 Jose Delgado's return to the New York Mets has been delayed. The 27-year-old starting pitcher has been in treatment for a strained shoulder and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Delgado will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 2 weeks. So far this year, Delgado has a 6-5 record with a 2.50 ERA. |
