Garcia Bags AL Best Player Award Monday, August 11th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Danny Garcia was in a class by himself in the American League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Tampa Bay tagged opposing pitchers for a .400 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 homers, 10 runs scored and 12 RBIs. Thus far this season, Garcia is hitting .286 with 31 home runs, 86 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has 125 hits in 437 at-bats and has played in 117 games. |
