New York Fired up Over 'Robinson Moments' Saturday, August 9th , 2025 Members of the New York Yankees know their manager does his job with emotion, and it's a quality that is endearing to the team. The club has coined Chris Robinson's emotional outbursts as "Robinson Moments" and said they are well received. "It shows he's passionate about the game and wants to win," said Paul Scott. "When he blows up at something in the dugout, or in the clubhouse, I think it sharpens our focus as a team, and gets the guys fired up." Robinson laughed when told his emotional outbursts have been coined with a nickname. "This is just the way I manage and they way I go about my life. I'm not going to hide my emotions," he said. "If that fires the boys up, that's a bonus."" |
