Tuesday, August 5th , 2025
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Cleveland's 5-0 win over Baltimore, right fielder Micah Pitts was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Pitts said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Micah Pitts singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Pitts is hitting .303 for the season with 17 home runs, 64 RBIs and 69 runs scored. He has 135 hits in 445 at-bats and played in 108 games.
