San Diego-Boston Brawl, Garcia and Peguero Suspended Saturday, August 2nd , 2025 Jose Garcia of the San Diego Padres and Adrian Peguero of the Boston Red Sox will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Padres-Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Garcia and Peguero will begin serving them soon. Garcia has collected 103 hits for the Padres this year, 18 of them home runs. He has also netted 55 RBIs and scored 86 runs while batting .241. |
