San Diego-Boston Brawl, Rush and Cox Suspended Friday, August 1st , 2025 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's San Diego-Boston contest at Fenway Park. The Padres Chris Rush and the Red Sox Bob Cox will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Currently Rush is batting .211 with 3 home runs and 20 RBIs. This season, Cox has gone 4-2 with an ERA of 5.43, posting 43 strikeouts in 54.2 innings. |
